Hundreds stage Amotekun solidarity rally in Ibadan

Various groups under the platform of Yoruba World Congress on Tuesday, staged a rally in support of the implementation of the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed “Operation Amotekun”.

In the rally held from Government Arcade, Agodi, Ibadan to state secretariat, Ibadan, hundreds of supporters held banners, rendered songs and chants maintaining that there was no going back on Amotekun.

Inscriptions on the banners include “Grrrr, Amotekun ni o; Yoruba omo odua! Protect yourself; Amotekun, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria Support Amotekun; On Amotekun we stand, No Amotekun.”
