Humblesmith returns with Uju Mina, promises to shame critics

After staying quiet for over six months, Osinachi crooner, Humblesmith, is set to return with a bang.

The Abakaliki-born star has not released a song this year despite pressure from his fans, who, according to him, have tried to push him out of his comfort zone.

Speaking with R on what has kept him away, the singer said he was not away, but was only monitoring happenings in the industry to know when to release his much-talked about song, Uju Mina.

He described the song as a banger and warned those who have written him off to get ready for another hit song that would shame his critics, adding that none of his previous songs was a waste of time or resources.

“I have heard people say a lot but I am not moved by what people say but how I influence what they say. The only way I can silence critics is to keep pushing my music and doing what makes the fans favourite in the first place,” he said.

On how he has been coping with life, the singer pointed out that music has always been his passion, one that has kept food on his table for a long time. He maintained that as long as life exists, his music will never fade away.

“I have very good songs out there that people still love. People know that when they hear Humblesmith, good music is assured. I can tell you that I would not disappoint lovers of good music,” he said.
