Humanist set to launch foundation

True to his kind and humanitarian stance about giving back to the world, CEO of Clovis Casuals, Louis Awode, a clothier per excellence and a fashion connoisseur is set to launch his foundation, “Clovis Foundation” to enable the less privileged and vulnerable people to have a better shot at good living.

According to him, the establishment of the foundation is borne out of his ardent interest in entrenching humanity in all and giving opportunities for people at the lower rungs of the social ladder.

He said: “The Clovis Foundation is an aegis of the trailblazing fashion brand, Clovis Casuals. The need for the initiative cannot be overemphasized. As the progenitor of the brand, my history has replete records of giving back to the society.”

The then secretary of the OAU students’ union is a born humanist, a change enthusiast and pro-masses.

He added that the underlying factor behind the foundation is to reduce the huge gap between the haves and the have-nots in the society.

“This comes as a way of clothing the needy and downtrodden in our society. Aside being a service provider, as part of our community service initiative, we look forward to providing helping hands,” he said.

Since Clovis Casuals was established in April 12 2016, the brand has continually delivered quality & and Afrocentric wears. A trend, which according to Awode has had positive raves and ripple effects on the brand’s growth and expansion.

“Again, the constant need to get better with trendy and eye-catching designs has greatly contributed to our constant growth,” he explained.

The sterling bespoke maker has, among several individuals, clothed Lekan Agbeleshe better known as Laycon, the Big Brother Naija 2020 winner. Agbeleshe gave rousing compliments and recommendations on the urban Danshiki he rocked, adding that Clovis is in a class of its own.

To further emphasize the level of care and attention paid to making quality wears, Awode has also clothed celebrities such as the HipTV presenter, McRhelax, Mama Shem, Mc Lexie, Abayomi Alvin and Jaido P.
