The plaintiff alleged the defendant was troublesome and aggressive in nature.
“I have no rest of mind because he gets easily provoked and takes things personal more than necessary,” she said.
She told the court that the defendant was in the habit of condemning and raising negative comments on every food she prepared for him.
Nafisat added that the defendant has no respect for any of her relatives, adding that his manners were so harsh on every member of her relatives.
The plaintiff told the court that their four- year-old marriage was yet to produce a child.
“I urge this court to dissolve our marriage because I gain nothing in it except frustration,” she said.
The defendant did not object to the prayer of the plaintiff, but prayed the court to order the plaintiff to return the sum N160, 000 expenses he had spent.
“I have spent a lot sponsoring her wedding ceremony and also on her relatives which I deserve some compensation,” said the defendant.
The plaintiff responded that “I am not ready to refund any amount to him because he also makes love with me over the years”.
The presiding Judge, Mr Ibrahim Abdulkadir, adjourned the case to December 5 for the defendant to proof his case.
