Honour for Ronke Ademiluyi

Published by

Founder of award-winning fashion platforms, The African Fashion Week London and Nigeria(AFWLN), Ronke Ademiluyi has won for herself another honour.

The hardworking woman, who owns the Rukis Fashion store in Lagos, was savouring the success of her recent show when the announcement dropped that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi has appointed her the Heritage Ambassador of the Moremi Ajasoro legacy.

The appointment comes with great responsiblity as the Heritage Ambassador is expected to develop sustainable avenues that would boost the legacies of Queen Moremi, an historical figure of extraordinary dimensions in Ife, whose intervention at a partcular point in the history of her domain, Ile-ife, saved her people, her domain and by and large their heritage from extinction.
