Citizens of Bauchi State have been advised to ensure that they hold the government accountable in the provision of quality living standard for them as part of their constitutional rights.

He opined that “for any government to deliver as expected, there is a need for the citizens to support it and hold it accountable. I want to enjoin citizens of the state to support the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed considering its determination to overcome the challenges militating against the progress of the state”.

The Commissioner added that “While I wish people of Bauchi state a Happy Independence Anniversary celebration, I call on Nigerians to emulate the nation’s founding fathers in their patriotism, selflessness and dedication to nation-building.  We should put our collective development above our selfish interests. Every citizen has a role to play in ensuring good governance.” as contained in a statement by Muslim Lawal, Personal Assistant, Media to the Commissioner.
