Hola Captivates Charts with Anticipated Single “Psychedelic”

Published by

EMERGING Nigerian singer-songwriter Bukola Ireti Holo, professionally known as Hola, has once again electrified the music scene with her latest single, “Psychedelic.”

This eagerly awaited track marks her first release of the year, following the success of her critically acclaimed debut EP, “Afro Icon.”

Formerly known as Ohla, Hola rebranded her stage name after “Afro Icon” solidified her status in the Afrobeats genre. This seven-track EP featured collaborations with veteran rapper Vector and prolific producer Mystro, with tracks crafted by Big Mouse and Mystro.

Discussing her new single, Hola revealed, “Psychedelic is a fun, exciting song that screams for change. It reflects on how life can sometimes feel plain, sad, and boring, and it expresses a longing for something that can take us to a higher, more colorful place. For me, in this case, love took me there.”

Hola’s musical journey is distinguished by her innovative approach and unwavering dedication to her craft.

With the release of “Psychedelic,” she continues to push the boundaries of Afrobeats, showcasing her artistic growth and resilience after parting ways with her former record label.

The song’s vibrant and energetic vibe is a testament to Hola’s unique style, effortlessly blending traditional Afrobeat rhythms with contemporary sounds. “Psychedelic” is more than just a song; it’s an experience that invites listeners to embrace change and find joy in life’s vivid hues.

Both fans and critics are eagerly watching to see what Hola will deliver next as she ascends in the global music scene. “Psychedelic,” produced by Big Mouse, is now available on all digital platforms and promises to be a hit among both loyal fans and new listeners.
