The call was made on Thursday, by Apostle Sunday Popoola, the General Overseer of Word Communication Ministries (WOCOM) during the 25th anniversary thanksgiving service of the Goodness and Mercy Schools, at the School premises at Akobo.

Apostle Popoola, who lauded parents that are involved in giving their children good education despite the huge sacrifices involved stated that they should ensure that in addition to good education, they help their children locate and pursue their purpose in order to allow them live the life God planned for them.

“The best you can be is what God wants you to be. In life, teach children not to pursue money or ambition, let them locate and pursue their purpose because that is what ensures success. Do not pursue ambition but purpose.

“Live by faith in God and his purpose for your life. I know this school was born out of a vision from God and not hunger and anything born of God leads to victory but we need to let our children discover that discovering and pursuing their purpose is the guaranty to success and bright future.

“Watch your children, be their friend so you can guide them and help them discover who they are and always thank God for where you are and how far you have come. That is the key to victory,” he stated.

Also speaking, the proprietress of Goodness and Mercy Schools, Evangelist Omoseeke Dada, stated that setting up a school was not her plan but a response to a divine call, adding that the school will continue to be a platform for qualitative education and impartation of moral values to prepare the children for excellence in the world.

“This school is not focused on profit but a children’s ministry meant to help children attain excellence and discover purpose,” Evangelist Dada said.
