Reports from area indicated that houses in hundreds are destroyed as a result of as the heavy downpour coursed the collapsing of all most all the mode building while wing carried away the roofing of some houses during the downpour.

One of the victims who gave his name as Isah Nasiru said “our clothes, room furniture’s and other domestic materials lost to the raining.

The local government council chairman called on state emergency management agency to come to the aid of the victims.
When contacted in his mobile phone the executive secretary Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency, Alhaji Yusif Sani Babura confirmed the incident, said “yes there was that incident. I sent my staff to assess the level of damages and lost estimate.
Alhaji Yusif Sani added that “they (the staff) are still there, I also not in the office now. I will be in office tomorrow (today) hopefully to come back and reports back to office”.
