Ingredients:
Beans, melon, onion, uma leaves, rodo, seasoning cubes, salt, crayfish, fish and water.
Preparation
Peel the beans and soak it inside water to soften it. While waiting for the beans to soften, put the melon in a frying pan, and continuously stir until it turns brown. Drain the water from the beans and add the fried melon, onions, rodo and crayfish. Blend them together with water. After blending, add seasoning cube, salt, fish and stir the mixture. Then wrap the mixture inside Uma leaf. Put little water inside a pot, then put the wrapped Alapa inside it. Allow it to boil for 30 minutes.
Your Alapa is ready. It is best served with Eko.
