Have you heard about Phizzle’s Passion Project?

For Olufela Yomi-Layinka, otherwise known as Fela, music is nothing but passion. From the moment he broke into the scene in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, where his music career began, many music lovers have come to appreciate his type of music that defies the norm.

Call him a rapper; you may be stating the obvious. Fela came into the game with a distinctive approach to rap and has remained truthful to his craft despite the pressure from within and outside the industry for him to jump on the bandwagon.

Fela keeps his feet on the ground and enjoys a reasonable number of followers in the music circle. Signed to Gbera Tinrin Studios (GTS), a music label that helps to nuture raw talents and provide maximum support for acts to reach their full potential.

Recently, Fela released a musical project and his official debut album entitled: Phizzle’s Passion Project, an artistic expression of a creative mind trying to achieve his dreams while finding true purpose in life.

Apart from being in music, the rapper, who runs a fashion and lifestyle brand called OYL signature collection where he designs and retails unique Nigerian product of international standards, is also the creative mind behind EyeCandy Media.

Days back, Fela released the first visuals from his debut studio album for the single, Oluyole Warrior, which featured his label mate, Big Carter. Upon the release of the song in April, it enjoyed rotation on radio, and it is expected that the new video would also live up to its hype.

For what will become unforgettable visuals, Fela and Big Carter in the video highlighted some of the iconic sites and landmarks in the city of Ibadan. The visual, which featured an appearance by the Oluyole Warriors Basket Ball team, is a perfect complement to the track, bringing the entire plot to life.
