Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has assured that her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has a deep love for Nigerians and is committed to addressing the economic challenges facing the country.
This comes as Nigerians prepare for a nationwide protest on August 1, 2024, amid growing economic hardship.
The first lady made this known when she paid the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu a courtesy visit, according to a statement on Tuesday by her Media Aide, Busola Kukoyi.
“He (Tinubu) loves Nigeria, he loves Nigerians, and will do the best for them,” she said.
Oba Akiolu urged Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu administration, emphasising the importance of prayers for the country’s well-being.
“Everything good needs prayers,” he added.
