Hajj 2025: Kaduna govt secures accomodation for pilgrims

Published by

Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has successfully secured befitting accommodation for its pilgrims in Makkah ahead of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

This significant achievement was announced on Tuesday by Malam Buhari Marabar Jos, a member of the Special Committee overseeing the Agency, following his return from Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at a media briefing in Kaduna, Malam Buhari revealed that the accommodations have satisfied the requirements of both the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj.

The briefing also highlighted that a delegation led by the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, is currently in Saudi Arabia to finalize all remaining arrangements before their return to Nigeria.

Malam Buhari reiterated Governor Uba Sani’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and comfort of the state’s pilgrims, assuring that the government is fully dedicated to ensuring a smooth and fulfilling pilgrimage for everyone.

He further urged prospective pilgrims to continue participating in the weekly enlightenment programs organized by the Agency across the 23 local government areas of the state.

These programs are designed to provide essential knowledge and guidance for a successful Hajj, especially given the significant investment of over eight million Naira made by each pilgrim.
