Hajj 2025: Jigawa board extends payment deadline to March 7

Jigawa Pilgrims Welfare Board has extended the 2025 Hajj Fare payment till 7th of March to allow the intending pilgrims who are not opportune to pay before the 15th of this month.

This was contained in a press statement issued, signed and made available to online Tribune in Dutse the state capital by the board’s public relations officer, Malam Habibu Yusuf Babura, said the “development followed a directive from the National Hajj Commission”.

According to the statement “The payment is now continue for intending pilgrims until 7 March, 2025 to give those not opportune to make payment”.

Malam Habibu Yusuf Babura further revealed that, the board has so par remitted over N6 billion to the National Hajj Commission in respect of intending pilgrims from Jigawa State.

The statement commended the Jigawa Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, for his commitments to the welfare of the state’s pilgrims.

The pilgrims board had earlier fixes 30th January as deadline and extended to February 15 for registration of intending pilgrims Hajj 2025.
