THE Chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Mustapha Adamu-Danze, has assured residents of the area that the construction work on busy one-way road in the town would soon be completed.
Adamu-Danze gave the assurance on Tuesday while inspecting the project near the market, to ascertain the level of work so far.
“When we assume duty, even motorcyclists could not access the road; but the work is at 65 per cent completion now.
“We are not just using ordinary laterite but abstracts, to have a concrete work, and hope to complete it in two months’ time.
“We are assuring residents that in no distant time, the work will be completed,” the council chief said.
Adamu-Danze said the council administration would leave no stone unturned in reaching out to the electorate, most especially in the area of water and other dividends of democracy.
“So far, we have been able to extend pipe-borne water to Angwan, Gwari and others.
“In the next two months, we would have gone far in giving our people potable water,” he said.
