Gunmen strike in Abuja, abduct father, son

Some men suspected to be kidnappers have abducted one Abdullahi Benda and his 23-year-old son, Jibrin Abdullahi Benda, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The abduction took place at Yangoji village in Kwali Area council on Friday night.

Tribune Online that the gunmen, who positioned themselves while also shooting into the air, forcefully opened the doors, went into the room and whisked the man and his son to an unknown destination.

When Tribune Online contacted the FCT Police Command, the Public Relations Officer, ASP Daniel Ndirpaya, confirmed the incident, stating that “Yes, we are aware and efforts are being made by the command to rescue the victims alive.”
