Gunmen abduct businesman in Ekiti

A businessman simply identified as Sina has been reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ijero local government area of the Ekiti state.
Sources in the town told Tribune Online, on Tuesday, that the gunmen seized Sina at about 10 pm on Sunday.
He was said to have been kidnapped as he made to enter his residence after returning from the day’s business.
The sources said the abductors had not contacted his family and that the matter had been reported to the police.
However, when contacted by Tribune Online, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Caleb Ikechukwu said he was not aware of the abduction.
