Gubernatorial aspirant to tackle unemployment problem in Nasarawa

GOVERNORSHIP aspirant in Nasarawa State Tanimu Salisu has promised to address unemployment and youth restiveness if voted into power come 2019.

The aspirant who spoke to selected journalists in Lafia on his ambition said as a youth, he believes that empowering the youth will help speed development of the state.

The governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party further disclosed that his government would institute and abide by the party’s cardinal objectives to deliver dividends of democracy to the electorates.

Alhaji Tanimu opined that his ambition is born out of his desire to bring to bear his vast public experience as a contribution to his fatherland.

Other areas of priority he said include the industrialization of Nasarawa State where investors can come in to boost the economy sector.

The politician, however, added that the issue of security will also be prioritised, pointing out that citizens and investor’s safety was the only way for rapid development.

While commenting on government performance, Tanimu who commended President Muhammadu Buhari for hisanti-corruption crusade also lauded him for his consistency in curtailing insecurity.

He also lauded Governor Umar Al-Makura’s led administration stride in transforming and building Nasarawa state, promising to continue from where his government will take over from next year
