Teem Clinic Dental Services, in conjunction with Smile Train, an international charity organisation dedicated to the provision of free cleft lip and palate surgeries, is set to offer complementary medical services for children afflicted with congenital defects in Ekpan, Effurun, Warri and environs of Delta State.
The medical outreach is scheduled to run from April 10 to April 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily.
The outreach will utilise the state-of-the-art facilities of Teem Dental Clinic based at Ekpan, Effurun area of the state.
This partnership between Teem Dental Services and Smile Train underscores unwavering dedication to extending vital healthcare services to marginalised low-income earners who have no financial capacity to access the special treatment.
Initiator of the Teem Clinic Dental, Dr. Etetefia Mabel, said the collaborative effort and its pivotal role are to address the prevalent challenges associated with cleft lip and palate in Delta State.
Apart from the provision of surgical intervention assistance, Smile Train’s comprehensive package encompasses every kind of cleft lip or cleft palate which is seamlessly aligned with Teem Dental’s mission of championing oral health initiatives.
Dr. Mabel, at a press briefing, articulated the transformative potential of the surgery.
She urged victims of kinds of diseases to embrace the opportunity by registering in advance, as the intervention will enhance the quality of life of the affected individuals within the confines of Uvwie, Warri and the state at large.
