The Renewed Hope Youth Alliance (RHYA) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its groundbreaking achievements in economic revitalisation, social welfare, and agricultural transformation.

At a national press briefing in Abuja, RHYA National Coordinator, Comrade Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, highlighted the administration’s significant strides in empowering Nigerian youth.

“President Tinubu’s commitment to youth development is unwavering. The Student Loan Scheme, Consumer Credit Corporation, Skill-Up Artisans Programme, and Nigerian Youth Academy demonstrate his dedication to nurturing future leaders.

“The administration’s economic reforms have yielded impressive results, notably doubling government revenues to over 9.1 trillion naira, reducing debt service spending from 97% to 68%, clearing $5 billion in foreign exchange obligations, and increasing oil production to 1.61 million barrels per day.

“Agricultural revitalisation efforts have gained momentum through the acquisition of thousands of hectares for farming, procurement of mechanised equipment, and introduction of incentives to boost food production and create jobs.

“Social welfare initiatives include the signing of a National Minimum Wage law raising the minimum wage to #70,000 per month and removing tariffs on essential food items, as well as an unprecedented #77,000 payment to NYSC members.,” Opeoluwa said.

President Tinubu’s plans to convene a 30-day Youth Conference were also praised as a testament to his commitment to youth empowerment.

RHYA urged Nigerians to unite behind President Tinubu’s vision for a stronger, more prosperous nation.

“Let us resist negativity and become torchbearers of hope and optimism,” Opeoluwa concluded.

The event was attended by representatives from various youth organizations, media outlets, and government agencies.

According to Opeoluwa, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated unwavering dedication to Nigeria’s progress. “We believe in his vision and commitment to transforming our nation,” he emphasized.

RHYA also acknowledged the administration’s efforts in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly through initiatives supporting small businesses and artisans.

As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, RHYA called on citizens to reflect on the nation’s progress and recommit to its collective goals.

“President Tinubu’s leadership marks a new era of hope and transformation for Nigeria. We must unite to achieve our full potential,” Opeoluwa stated.
