IN a bid to give back to its community and put smile on the face of children, Sammylegend Foundation, a non religious and detribalised organisation, in collaboration with Christ Life Abundant Power Ministry, Lagos, visited Great Faith Orphanage Home, Ogijo, Ogun State.
Samson Ajobiewe, CEO of the foundation, stated that the purpose of the visit was to celebrate with children. He added that the mission of the organisation are orphanage visit, celebrating birthdays, children days and other events “to make these special kids feel special and make them not to feel less human, aged ministry, locating widows that need a lift in one form or the other.
“Being a growing organisation, we have deemed it fit to dig out poorly financed orphanage homes and rehab centres, uncared widows, aged and religious houses (both churches and mosques). As they say, charity begins at home, but not expected to stop there, for there is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of his way to make life beautiful for others.
“There have been financial challenges, but we are going to stop at nothing to ensure that the less privileged gets attention and our next stop is to target widows above 50 years of age and make the Christmas season worthwhile for them sponsors and donors are welcomed all over the word.
“We intend to make it a monthly event so as to associate with different orphanage homes to impact their lives better. Charity is our concern and we should always remember that unless a life is lived for others, it’s not worth living,” Mr Ajobiewe said.
