Group commends Tinubu for signing South-East development commission bill

The Orlu Progressive Initiative (OPI) has Commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the South East Development Commission (SEDC) bill into law
.
In a statement issued Sunday in Owerri by the Executive Director of OPI, Mr Ikechukwu Nwabueze, the group also expressed their appreciation to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Benjamin Kalu for sponsoring the bill at the national assembly

Nwabueze expressed optimism that the bill will address a lot of developmental challenges that have been experienced in the region for decades.

The ED disclosed their commitment towards building a better South East region and Nigeria at large.
