The Concerned Northern Forum (CNF), a prominent advocacy group championing educational, infrastructural, and socio-economic development in Northern Nigeria, has lauded Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s exemplary administrative prowess and commitment to fulfilling the Interior Ministry’s mandate.
In a statement signed by the group’s Secretary, Amodu Philip, known for his dedication to the progress, unity, and growth of Northern Nigeria and the nation as a whole, has showered commendations on Tunde-Ojo (BTO) for his resolute efforts in advancing the cause of Nigeria through transformative reforms within the Interior Ministry.
In its statement, the CNF highlighted BTO’s remarkable strides and fervour in revolutionising the Interior Ministry, setting new standards and displaying unparalleled preparedness for the tasks at hand.
Continuously surpassing expectations, BTO’s dedication and commitment have reshaped the perception of the office’s responsibilities beyond the mere declaration of public holidays, a stereotypical association in the past.
The CNF particularly hailed the overhaul instigated by BTO in the application and issuance process of international passports, citing it as a testament to Nigeria’s potential for a resurgence under effective leadership.
Moreover, the forum applauded BTO’s proactive approach to addressing the longstanding issue of prison congestion across the country.
Emphasising the urgent need for prison reform and the transformation of these facilities into correctional centres, the CNF underscored BTO’s initiatives towards decongesting prisons as a significant step in the right direction. Notably, these efforts are being executed at zero cost to the government.
Expressing unwavering confidence in the present administration’s objectives and leadership under President Bola Ahmed, the CNF expressed optimism for the future, believing that the ongoing reforms within the Interior Ministry will pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
According to Amodu Philip, Secretary of the CNF, “We commend Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his exceptional dedication and transformative reforms within the Interior Ministry. His efforts signify a promising trajectory for the nation’s development, and we are confident that these reforms will lead to positive outcomes for Nigeria.”
The CNF’s endorsement solidifies the recognition of Tunji-Ojo’s impactful leadership and his contributions towards reshaping the Interior Ministry for the betterment of Nigeria’s future.
