Speaker of the House, Hon Yakubu Dogara
AS the leadership crisis rocking the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi State heightens, Concerned stakeholders of the party in Dass local government area of the state, has alleged a serious plot by some politicians to precipice violence in Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Areas which Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara represents by using hired thugs and hang it on the neck of the Speaker to tarnish his political image.
Leader of the group, Dr Abdu Ghani stated this Sunday while briefing reporters at the NUJ Secretariat Bauchi, saying that , “Top securities sources have informed us of series of meetings that were held between June 10 to June 12, 2018, in Jos and Abuja where they planned to hire political thugs who would unleash violence and then use it to incriminate the innocent Yakubu Dogara.”
Abdu Ghani further said that “We had it on good authority that the plan is to burn the APC offices in the three LGAs of Dass, Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa that make up the Federal constituency by the thugs and hang it on the Speaker. Once that is achieved, the Bauchi State APC chapter will then accuse the Speaker of sponsoring the attack and announce that it has dismissed the Speaker from the party and then formerly write a petition to the security agencies in which they will implicate the Speaker including some other condemned criminals.”
