This partnership fuels the 2024 edition of the Creative Writers Fellowship (CWF) and offers 400 Nigerians the chance to hone their storytelling skills and secure funding for their impactful ideas.
With a successful track record spanning over two years, the Creative Writers Fellowship has significantly enhanced grant writing skills among creative minds in Nigeria.
Now entering its fourth cohort, the 2024 CWF is receiving full sponsorship from USADF.
A statement by the foundation noted that the partnership highlights its dedication to nurturing talent and supporting SME owners, startup founders, NGO leaders, and writers alike.
In the statement, President and CEO of the United States African Development Foundation (USADF), Travis Adkins, emphasised the foundation’s dedication to nurturing Nigerian youths and fostering prosperity within communities.
He stated: “USADF is committed to investing in Nigeria’s youth, supporting them to create pathways to prosperity in their communities.
“We are proud to partner with Grant Master to provide complimentary grant writing skills and resources, equipping young entrepreneurs and changemakers with the skills they need to access funding and build a brighter future.”
Co-founder & CEO of Grant Master, Olugbenga Ogunbowale, underscored the importance of grant writing as more than just securing funds.
