Following the death of a member representing Ibadan North federal constituency, Honourable Olaide Akinremi, the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has ordered that all flags across the state be flown at half-mast in honour of the late Akinremi.
The governor’s directive was contained in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Dotun Oyelade.
Condoling Akinremi’s family, the governor described the sudden demise of one of the state’s representatives in the House of Representatives as shocking and a great loss to the State.
