Governor Bindow swears in four more special advisers.

POLITICAL officeholders have been reminded to always abide by the Oath of Office taken while discharging their official responsibilities.

Governor Muhammad Umar Bindow Jibrilla who gave the charge while presiding over the swearing ceremony of Four additional Special Advisers to the Governor into his government at Banquet Hall of the Government House Yola.

Governor Muhammad Jibrilla explained that public office is a public trust and they would be accountable for their stewardship before Almighty, and urged the appointees to be prudence and accountable while discharging their official duties.

While congratulating the appointees, the Governor also called on them to assiduously for the progress and Development of Adamawa State as well as to give useful advice to the government in order to move the state to the next level.

He also commended President Muhammadu Buhari maintaining peace and security in the North East as well as the fight against corruption in the Country.

Those sworn in include Umar Balula from Michika local government, Dr Raymond Chidama from Hong local government, Alhaji Bello Mahmud from Fufore Local Government and Mark Dauda from Demsa local government areas.

Responding on behalf of the Special Advisers, Umar Balula thanked Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla for finding them worthy to serve as his advisers and promised to justify the confidence reposed on them.

He also stated that they would contribute their own quota to the development of Adamawa State

The Oath of Office was administered by the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice Barrister Muhammad Raji.
