Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has mapped out various strategies to provide pipe-borne water to the teeming masses of the state.
Among the steps being taken in this direction is the ongoing pipeline reticulation extension recently approved by Governor Yusuf.
The State Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Ali Makoda, made this known in a statement signed and made available to the press on Wednesday in Kano.
As part of the efforts made by the Kano State Government to ensure the provision of potable water across the nooks and corners of the state, the ongoing pipeline reticulation extension recently approved by the state governor is crucial.
The project comprises excavation, pipelaying, and backfilling at the cost of over 100 million naira.
When this important and meaningful project is completed, it is expected that communities like Yanshana and Unguwar Rimi in Kumbotso Local Government will have access to water supply.
