Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has vowed to sack any Development Center Coordinator, who fails to supervise the activities of Primary, secondary schools and primary health centres in the state.

Umahi gave the warning at the Akanu Ibiam Conference Center on Wednesday, where he gave portfolios to 26 commissioners.

According to Gov Umahi, who warned against uncleanliness in the offices, he charged the coordinators to ensure that all their surroundings are clean at all time.

He also charged the council Chairmen and development centers coordinators to take care of their people in their council areas.

“You should ensure that all the primary school pupils are coming to school, ensure that the primary health centres are clean, I don’t want to be seeing grasses growing everywhere, because is not acceptable at all.

“Local Government chairmen should be supervising the coordinators, while the coordinators will supervise the Management Committee members.
