Gov Umahi in early lead in Ebonyi, clears 7 LGAs declared

Ebonyi state Governor David Nweze Umahi is gradually winning the yesterday governorship election in the state as he is leading In INEC declaration from one  Local Government area to another.
Our correspondent gathered that the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) has won in seven local government out of the thirteen Local Government Area in the State.
Governor David Umahi and the People’s Democratic Party candidate has defeated his closest rival of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) Senator Sonni Ogbuorji in Ezza south local government area with PDP 27,583 against APC that scored 3,245 votes. In Ikwo local government area PDP won with 37,9,47 against it closest rival APC  that scored 11,475votes.
Also in Izzi Local government Area PDP scored  34,199,  to beat APC  that scored 13430 votes. In IVO Local Government Area  PDP won with  19,166  against  APC  that scored 1,704 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party PDP also clear votes in  Ishielu Local Government Area with 26,700 votes against   APC that scored  3,105 votes. In EBONYI Local Government Area PDP won with 25,830 against APC that scored 5,951votes, and in ABAKALIKI  local government Area, PDP scored 26,005 votes to beat  APC that only scored 9,764 votes.
However, professor Frank Chukwuemeka Eze,Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Owerri is the state collation officer.
