Gov Soludo
Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has urged the South East Development Commission (SEDC) to prioritize the regional railway project connecting the five South East states. Highlighting the project’s critical role in the region’s economic development, Soludo emphasized its significance during the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) fourth meeting on February 24, 2025.
Soludo’s stance was echoed by ANSEC members as they bid farewell to Mr. Mark Okoye, the pioneer Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SEDC, as he assumes office. Applauding Okoye’s appointment, Soludo expressed confidence in his ability to drive positive change in the Southeast region, citing his extensive experience in investment banking and dedication to public service.

The governor noted that Okoye’s selection as SEDC head underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to fostering development in the region.
