Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has expressed warm greetings and congratulations to all Muslims as they commemorate the blessed occasion of Eid-el Maulud, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed and made available to Journalists in Awka on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
In wishing the Muslim Ummah happy Eid-el Maulud celebrations, the governor noted that this significant event holds great importance for Muslims worldwide, as it offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.
“In celebrating this occasion, we are reminded of the responsibility we all share in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.
“In Anambra State, we remain committed to upholding the values of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that are central to the ethos of our great nation.
“Together, regardless of our faith, we can build a prosperous Anambra State and a better Nigeria.”
