Gov Mohammed reiterates commitment to welfare of Bauchi civil servants

Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has reiterated that his administration remains committed to the welfare of civil servants and retirees in the state considering the fact that they hold the key to the success of the administration.

Offices of the Head of the Service of (HoS), Accountant General (AG) as well as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Bauchi State have been commended for their joint efforts in addressing the problem of salary management in the state.

The commendation was made by the State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir when he presided over the meeting of the State Executive Council (SEC) held at the EXCO Chamber of the Government House on Wednesday.

The Governor praised the officers for organizing the just concluded two-day refresher training for the Permanent Secretaries, Commissioners and Heads of MDAs on salary management for effective service delivery.

Bala Mohammed also said that all hands should be on deck to ensure that people received their salaries immediately it is released at the scheduled date on the month.

He added that despite the challenges of paucity of funds, his administration will not be distracted in any way because he has developed a solid plan to provide more dividends of democracy to the people.

Bala Mohammed stressed that salaries, gratuities and pension will be settled regularly in order to ensure that nobody is allowed to suffer due to non payments of the entitlements.

He called on the members of the SEC to continue to support his administration to enable it to succeed in the tasks of delivering the fruits of democracy to the people.
