Gov Makinde, force to reckon with in South West political circle — Segelu

Published by

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Hon. Olayinka Segelu, has described the governor of Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde, as a force to be reckoned with in South-West Nigeria’s political turf.

Segelu, in a statement, also felicitated the governor and his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the chieftaincy title conferred on them as Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom by His Royal Majesty, The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Kiladejo.

The statement reads in parts: “Governor Seyi Makinde is undoubtedly one of the great men to reckon with in the political circle in South-West Nigeria, and he is blessed with divinely inspired ingenuity that he has creatively applied to help in tackling many challenges that have bedevilled the Western region of Nigeria for decades.

“He has continued to play a significantly supportive role in societal issues and activities geared towards the transformation, growth, and development of Nigeria.

“He is a leader whom everyone is looking up to in Oyo State today. Thank you for all you have been doing for our benefit and interest.”.

The YSEG Hotels and Suites boss also said: The pride of Oyo State was installed by Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom on Osemawe’s 70th birthday.

“As you add another feather in your cap, may the grace, mercy, and protection of the Most High God never cease to be upon you and your family, as I wish you many more fruitful years of service to humanity.”
