Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned businessman, philanthropist, and community leader in the state, Alhaji Jauro Bappi, who passed away Monday in Gombe after a protracted illness.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the late Alhaji Jauro Bappi as a close associate and confidant with whom he had shared a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship.
He praised him as a highly respected businessman, a devout Muslim, and a key pillar of the Tijjaniyya in Gombe, whose charitable deeds touched many lives.
The Governor noted that Alhaji Jauro Bappi’s death was a huge loss to him personally and to the entire Gombe State, as the deceased was an influential figure whose contributions to the business community and the social fabric of the state were immeasurable.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, his associates, the business community, and members of the Tijjaniyya in Gombe and beyond.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
