Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed delight over the promotion and decoration of an illustrious son of the state, Hassan Danjuma, to the rank of Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) in the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

Inuwa Yahaya described ACG Hassan Danjuma’s promotion to the NCS Management Team, representing the North-East, as a significant achievement and a source of pride for Gombe State.

The Governor commended ACG Hassan as a dedicated and courageous customs officer who has consistently demonstrated commitment and professionalism in serving the nation.

Emphasizing the principle that “with greater recognition comes greater expectations,” the Governor encouraged him to redouble his efforts and continue his exemplary service with renewed dedication.

“This promotion is not just a personal honor for ACG Hassan but also a source of pride for Gombe State. We are confident that he will excel in his new capacity and contribute meaningfully to national development,” the Governor stated.

Inuwa Yahaya added: “On behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, I extend our heartfelt congratulations, solidarity, and best wishes to our dear brother and illustrious son on this well-deserved promotion.”
