Emir Sunusi, Gov Ganduje lead special prayers for Kano

‎‎Hundreds of Muslims, including the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, on Friday offered special prayers for peace and stability in Kano and Nigeria.‎‎

‎The prayer, organised by the Kano State Government in conjunction with the Kano Emirate Council, was attended by Imams of all Juma’at Mosques in the state.‎

It featured the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by special prayers for Allah’s intervention to bring about lasting peace and stability.‎‎

Those who attended the special prayer included members of the State House of Assembly,‎ executive council, members of Emirate Council and Islamic scholars.

‎NAN reports that Kano state was created from the former Northern region on May 27, 1967.‎
