Gov. Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, on Wednesday commissioned the remodeled Taraba State House of Assembly ultramodern complex Jalingo.
Nigerian Tribune reports that, governor Agbu kefas had earlier in July 2023, awarded contract for the remodeling of the State Assembly complex for better legislation of policies that would bring transformation of Taraba and her citizens.
Fintiri while commending governor Kefas for his passion toward transforming Taraba, expressed that the idea to rebuild the state assembly complex was a testament that the governor was poised to creating synergy with the legislature, hence the need for good legislation and governance.

The Adamawa governor expressed that the harmonious working relationship between governor Kefas and the Taraba lawmakers was a demand for speedy development of the State.
According to him, democracy was beyond the usual act of elections, as leaders were required to imbibe the culture of service delivery to the people.
He said, “Democracy is beyond the usual act of elections. Leaders are to imbibe the culture of service delivery to the people.
“For democracy to thrive, power must not only be separated but each organ must be respected and supported for development.
