Governor Yahaya Bello
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has expressed shock over the death of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal in the state, Justice Ibrahim Shaibu Atadoga describing him as an excellent legal icon.
Bello in a statement issued on Sunday in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, said the late Atadoga has over the years contributed immensely to the development of the judicial sector of the state.
He particularly recalled that Justice Atadoga was instrumental to the establishment of the Customary Court of Appeal in Kogi State.

He said the state would miss his wealth of experience and contributions to the growth of judicial arm of the state.
Bello condoles the immediate family of the deceased Justice Atadoga, the State Chief Judge and the entire judiciary family in the state.
He prayed to God to grant the soul of the deceased Aljana and fortitude for the family of the deceased to bear the loss.
Justice Atadoga who hails from Omala LGA of the state, was called to Bar in 1986.
He died on Sunday after a brief illness.
