Gov Bago mourns ex-FCT minister, Useni

Niger State Governor Umaru Bago expressed his condolences to the government and people of Plateau State following the passing of former Senator and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni.

In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described Lt. Gen. Useni’s death as a significant loss to Nigeria and humanity.

He recalled the outstanding commitment and remarkable contributions of the late general to nation-building during his military service and in his subsequent political career.

The Governor emphasized that Lt. Gen. Useni has left a void, particularly in Northern Nigeria, that only God can fill.

He extended his sympathies to the government and people of Plateau State and prayed that God grant eternal rest to the soul of the departed and provide comfort to all affected by his passing.
