Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago over the death of his stepmother.
Governor Umaru Bago who described the death of the deceased as a colossal loss to the entire State, prayed to Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her entry into Aljannat Firdaus.
He called on the Emir and the entire Emirate Council to see the loss as the will of Allah and assured the Council of his continued support.
The Emir also commended the Governor for his people-oriented policies and assured him of the emirate’s support in achieving his targets.
Among the Governor’s entourage were the Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Chief of Staff and his Deputy as well as some members of the State Executive Council.
