The president and founder of Encounter Jesus Ministries, Apostle Michael Orokpo, has criticised gospel singers who charge high fees for their services, describing them as entertainers who simply justify their costs.
Orokpo stated this during a ministration, which has gone viral and generated a lot of reactions.
He expressed concern over the pervasive corruption within the Christian community, noting that many gospel singers and preachers are neither diligent in their business practices nor genuinely devoted to serving the Lord.

“The performance they put on at the altar merely serves to justify the fees they demand. You will be shocked at the conversation they have with the pastors who invite them.
He warned that if they didn’t change their ways and become diligent in their business, fervent in spirit, and dedicated to serving the Lord, they would lose their relevance.
“This is why many of them fade away from the ministry after a few years. God has reduced their standing, and they may even be forgotten. Just look at some who are no longer active,” he added.
