Gospel artiste, Yemy TPX, celebrates with underprivileged

Gospel music sensation, Yemi Olatunji, otherwise known as Yemy TPX, on January 8, 2018, celebrated his birthday with the underprivileged.

The artiste, who launched the online campaign tagged #NaijaGoSmile, in 2016, as part of efforts to offer encouragement to Nigerians in the light of present challenges, celebrated with the handicapped and orphans.

He visited the Mercy of God Home, Iwo Road, Ibadan and He Careth Orphanage, General Gas, Ibadan, alongside a few friends, where he shared gift items and spread joy to mark his birthday.

Following the release of his song, Naija Go Smile, which earned him the Naija Impact Award in 2014, using his music ministry, ‘The Praising Xtian (TPX),’ a ministry targeted at creating an atmosphere of worship, praise and edification in God’s presence, he went on to rebrand the song in celebration of Nigeria’s 56th Independence anniversary, which has become a national sensation, with subsequent editions.
