Gombe Police parade Teacher for raping 5 year old pupil, car thieves

A 26-year-old Teacher with the Raudatul Qur’an Primary and Secondary School, Bye-pass, Gombe has been paraded by the Gombe State Police Command for allegedly raping a 5-year-old pupil of the school.

While parading the suspect, the State Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Garba Mukaddas, who gave the name of the suspect as Bilyaminu Halilu, said the suspect was arrested on Thursday (01/10/2018), by officers of the Gona Division of the State Command.

Garba Mukkadas explained that Bilyaminu Halilu allegedly took the girl to his office and laid her on his table and had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl adding that the mother of the victim while bathing her the same day in the evening, noticed blood from the private part of the little girl.

He added that when the mother inquired, the little girl told her that it was her Teacher that was responsible, thereafter the teacher was promptly arrested by the Police and he has confessed to the crime and will soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.

The Police also displayed four assorted cars recovered from two notorious car thieves/receivers in Gombe alongside the thieves, a 42 years old Murtala Adamu and 38 years old Alhaji Sani Adamu aka Dankade, all of Gombe town.

The Police Commissioner also said that the four cars were stolen within the last two months from different persons across the country and gave identities and where the cars were stolen as follows, a Toyota Corolla dark green in colour with chassis number 2TIBRI2E2YC363155 stolen from Epan, Warri in Delta State.

Another car is a Toyota Rav4 with chassis number J123922K8044534 ash in colour and stolen from Abuja, Golf 3 car with registration number AA886JMA stolen from Kano and Toyota Camry, golden colour with chassis number JT2B922K80445346 also stolen from Abuja.

He then said that all the suspects who have confessed to have stolen as well as received the vehicles will soon be charged to court.
