God said those who stick to me will not end small ― Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) late Saturday said that God told him to announce that anyone who sticks close to him (Adeboye) will not end small.

He made the disclosure on the night of the sixth day of the just-concluded 2019 Holy Ghost Congress held at the Redemption Camp, Kilometre 46, Lagos – Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, Nigeria.

The annual Holy Ghost Congress with the theme: “The Great TurnAround” witnessed unprecedented mammoth worshippers cutting across denominations, tribe and tongues from across the globe including Russia and Indonesia.

This is coming in spite of the various viewing centers in selected RCCG churches across 198 countries where worshippers gathered to partake of the spiritual meal during the six-day Congress.

While ministering on Saturday night, the grand finale of the weeklong Christian gathering, on the topic: “Anointing for Permanent TurnAround,” Daddy Adeboye said that after he got his sight restored by JESUS, Bartimaeus, the blind beggar in Mark 10:46-52, followed his benefactor in the way.

He, therefore, albeit courageously, disclosed to the worshippers gathered for the Holy Communion-cum-Anointing Service what God had told him to announce the previous day but which he had been reluctant to let out of the bag perhaps for fear of being misunderstood.

According to the 77-year-old revered cleric from Ifewara in Osun State, southwest Nigeria, he lost his peace and was under constant prompting by the Spirit of God after being unable to divulge the message while the Friday’s Holy Ghost Night service lasted.

While delivering the message after passionately pleading with the worshippers too, like Bartimaeus, stay glued to Jesus Christ, the former University don said:

“There was something God told me and I was afraid to say it. But throughout the night, after we left here, the Spirit won’t let me rest.

“He wants me to announce to all those who would stick with His son, Adeboye, that there’s no way they’ll end small.

“I know what He said; but who am I? Who’s Adeboye? Minus JESUS Christ, I’m just an empty vessel.

“But what He has said He will do. As far as I’m concerned, I will follow Jesus Christ all the way.

“Now, He’s saying as many as will remain attached to this little boy, there’s no way they’ll end small.”

He warned that it was one thing to have a great turnaround but another ballgame to retain it, admonishing the congregants to abide by Christ just the way he has made up his mind to remain in God.

The renown cleric, who anointed participants at the Saturday grand finale for personal, family, societal and national turnarounds, however, reiterated that the greatest of all turnarounds is to finish well by gaining heaven.

“The greatest turnaround is a rapture. Of what use are miracles, signs, and wonders in this world if we end up in hellfire?

“The greatest need for anointing is to finish well,” he enthused.

Meanwhile, no fewer than 47 babies of 28 boys and 19 girls were delivered during the six-day 2019 Holy Ghost Congress with other numerous testimonies following.
