A gospel musician, Obus Zalee, has declared during the dedication of a gospel CD, “The Father’s Company”, that it is only God that can make anyone a star.
The compilation was handled by Christian Talent Community (CTC) at the Glorious Kings Christian Centre, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria on Friday.
He advised the young acts not to be desperate for fame and fortune to the extent that they would compromise their faith as only God brings stardom.
“Radio stations don’t make hits. It’s God that makes them, and He and He only knows how He makes them, he said.”
He added that stardom is actually evangelism, so the artistes must be ready to provide the kind of entertainment that points people in the direction of God.
