Gobir appointed patron, Presidential Support Committee

Presidential Support Committee of the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir, Wazirin Hausa as patron of the committee.

His appointment was contained in a letter personally addressed to him dated, January 4, 2019, and signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President (Political) and the Presidential Committee Facilitator, Rt. Hon. Gideon Sammani.

The statement explained that Waziri Gobir’s appointment was due to his political involvement and overwhelming commitment to the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the statement, his appointment was also in preparation for the president’s re-election bid.

The statement stated further that the Presidential Support Committee is made up of people drawn from the Buhari Support Groups and identified “Buhari Die Hard”.

It would be recalled that the Gobir Organisation under the leadership of it’s President, Waziri Gobir recently donated over 100 vehicles towards the re-election campaign bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Waziri Gobir was one of the governorship aspirants under the APC in Kwara State and participated during the party primaries.
