Pregnancy scare has hit the household of Professor Johnbull McNwigwe, as the second episode of the Globacom-sponsored TV series, Professor Johnbull, aired yesterday (Wednesday) on NTA Network, NTA International and Startimes from 8.30pm to 9.00pm.
The focus of the highly entertaining drama series this week is on how parents react when they suspect their daughters are pregnant.
Under the topic, Eliza my daughter, viewers will see how Elizabeth (Queen Nwokoye), the starry-eyed daughter of Professor Johnbull, reacted when her cerebral dad, acted by Kanayo O. Kanayo, presumed his beloved daughter is pregnant.
An apparently worried Mai Doya visits Professor Johnbull to complain to him that his wife who is expecting their ninth child, has been vomiting all over the house.
This coincides with when Elizabeth rushes out of the house, vomiting. Professor Johnbull immediately links both incidents and concludes that his beloved daughter is probably pregnant.
Alarmed that his daughter has been violated, Professor Johnbull becomes a private investigator and engages Caro, a pharmaceutical attendant and a medical doctor to discreetly find out if his daughter has eaten the forbidden fruit.
The erudite professor embarks on a voyage of discovery. The outcome of his investigation is both startling and comical.
The sitcom features great Nollywood acts like Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Queen Nwokoye, Junior Pope, Mama G, Funky Mallam, and Ogus Baba, among others. Repeat broadcasts will air on the same stations on tomorrow at the same time.
