It was a moment of fun for Rita Dominic, Nancy Isime, Debola Williams, Funke Bucknor, Azuka Oguijuba, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Kaffy, Tony Tetuila, Funke Kuti, IK Osakioduwa, SwankyJerry, Audu Maikori, Seun Kuti and a lot of many other celebrities and entertainers who attended the ‘Lagos Canvas’, a celebration and showcase of music, film, fashion and arts at the residence of the US Consul General, Will Stevens.
The event, a first of its kind hosted by media personality and boss of EbonyLife TV, Mo Abudu was to further promote African arts and Nigerian creatives in an evening of splendor, wine, and good music.
US consul, Will Stevens in a message of solidarity thanked the Nigerian creatives and promised a more defined relationship while stating the purpose of the American government to use arts as a means of fostering unity in Nigeria and Africa.
The host, Mo Abudu also stressed the need for such events as she hinted at her plan to broaden the platform to accommodate more creative minds from all sectors.
