Give your children quality education, Kogi proprietor advises parents

A prominent stakeholder in the education sector of Kogi State and the proprietor of Bridge Head International Academy, Lokoja, Oluwole James Adebola has called on parents to give very qualitative education to their children and wards saying education is the key that unlocks life’s opportunities.

Adebola who gave the advice on Saturday during the 7th graduation ceremony of Bridge Head international School, at Felele said education is a catalyst to modernisation and development and that it was through education that the world has been turned into a global village.

The Proprietor said no matter the current challenges in the country, there is no alternative to education stressing that quality education is the panacea to ignorance and underdevelopment and a potent tool that transforms individuals and communities.

While say Bridge Head international Academy is one of the few schools in the state capital that offered excellent education and mould pupils and students to become global leaders, he called on parents and guardians to give their children and wards good and quality education as education is the best legacy to offer children.

He commended the management of the school and the PTA chairman, Mr Yusuf John for the feat accomplished within the short period of the establishment of the school and specifically commended the consultant to the school, Mr Abiodun Kajotoni for his exceptionally tireless efforts.

The proprietor called on the pupils and students not to relent in taking their studies serious advising them to ensure that the labours of their parents on them must not be in vain.

While commending the outstanding students in the school ,he congratulated the graduating students and said the knowledge and trainings acquired in the school should be guild to them in their future endeavors urging them to make the school proud

The acting principal of the school , Mr Moses Komolafe also called on the graduating students to make adequate use of the knowledge and trainings acquired to help them in navigating through the turbulence of life so as to become notable personalities in future.

He urged them to showcase their talents in wherever they find themselves and to always conduct themselves well by being the ambassadors of the school.

He also commended the pioneer principal of the school, Mr Femi Durowaiye for laying a good foundation which the management is building on.

Responding on behalf of the graduating students, Miss Chinyere Chukwuma thanked the principal and the teachers for giving them quality education and training them in the way of the Lord and said they will continue to uphold the virtues of excellence, discipline, honestly and hard work which the school is known for.
